Fantastic but very, very busy. Go early. Huge array of delicious food and drinks to eat there and stock up for the weekend, plus gorgeous stalls of clothes, … More jewellery, plants, art, leather work, washing lines, puppies looking for homes, sustainable home products, beauty products and MUCH more. One of the best markets I've been to in SA, but definitely go early.

First time visiting and truly impressed. Free entry and stalls selling everything from bubbly or beer and oysters for breakfast to all kinds of baked goods … More and Pizza. There were plenty of hand crafted goods, in SA.The only issue we had was being tempted into drinking a local beer at 11 am.

First time visiting and blown away. These guys don’t mess around. From sparkling wine and oysters for breakfast to all kinds of baked goods, each more … More mouthwatering than the next. And the most beautiful, fresh, organic veggies and fruits; a peach the size of a mini soccer ball. Best of all, no made in China trinkets in sight. Just 100% proudly South African hand crafted goods made with care and love. They make it very tempting to make the 90 minute drive on the regular.

Local fresh produce, loads of interesting foods stalls and music. Seating at tables throughout.Lovely little market, they're going to need more space … More soon though! The queue for coffee and some food stalls were too long. I bought some beautiful vegetables and some fish dishes from one of the stalls.

Hermanus Country Market is hidden away from the centre of the town and is in business every Saturday “rain or shine” as one vendor put it.Despite its location, … More it’s hugely popular with the locals and the place is packed, so arrive about 9am if you want to secure place for yourself and family to sit. What’s for sale? Everything craft and food. It’s actually neatly laid out with most of the food and drinks vendors on one side, while crafters occupy the other side. There’s also an area for kids to play where parents can see them and there are plenty of tables set in the centre area. It’s not uncommon for different groups to begin chatting as the whole of the place is pretty social. The quality of the food and craft is top class – especially check out some of the art for sale, as well as the leather goods. There’s nothing mass-produced.Parking gets crowded early, but it is free.

Only stopped there for a coffee (which was great). Very neat little outdoor market. Plenty of food, drink and art options. The market itself is well shaded … More with more than enough parking nearby. Definitely worth a stop if you want to get out of the main town for a bit.
