Reispret | Travel Fun Takes on the Hermanus Country Market Food Challenge!

The popular South African YouTube channel, Reispret | Travel Fun, led by Christo Steenkamp, recently embarked on a gastronomic journey, and food challenge, at the vibrant Hermanus Country Market. Their mission? To see just how much delicious food they could snag for a mere R1000.

The team, known for their adventurous spirit and love for local cuisine, dove headfirst into the market’s diverse offerings, where they sampled a wide variety of dishes, from Bacon Donuts, to sweet treats such as pancakes, waffles and spring rolls, to Buritos and Gourmet Hotdogs! (Not forgetting the biltong and Droe Wors for the road trip back home).

A Satisfying Experience

Throughout their visit, they kept tallying up the costs, aiming to stick to their R1000 budget – but with so much delicious food to explore, they just couldn’t resist going over! Their final total? R1235, and according to them, every cent was well spent. With tummies full and hearts happy, the Reispret | Travel Fun team left the market with big smiles and a ton of great content for their fans.
